Shopper Identity Protection

This certification requires a TrustedSite Pro subscription.

Shopper Identity Protection lets customers know they're protected with $100,000 insurance coverage in the event of identity theft. By offering your customers this complimentary protection with purchase, you can convert more visitors and protect your customers.

Website Requirements

Sites can offer Shopper Identity Protection by:

• Installing the conversion tracking code

• Enabling an opt-in method: modal, slide up, or automatic

• Having a purchase detected in the last 7 days

End-User Requirements

To be eligible for Shopper Identity Protection coverage, an end-user must meet the following requirements:

• Make a qualifying purchase from a site that offers TrustedSite’s Shopper Identity Protection.

• Activate coverage/

• Experience a covered identity theft event.

• Reside in the United States, its territories and possessions, Puerto Rico or Canada, excluding MN, TX & NY.

Every time a customer makes a qualifying purchase you will receive 90 days of coverage from the date of the most recent purchase. Coverage is not cumulative and can’t be banked with multiple purchases.
